HCAA CLOSED on the afternoons of March 12 and 13 for training regarding new outbreak-related procedures

At this time, under the guidance of our federal, state, and local grantors, Harford Community Action Agency will continue to serve the citizens of Harford County. We will be CLOSED on the afternoons of March 12 and 13 for training regarding new outbreak-related procedures. All emergency walk-ins will be taken even during the closed periods.

We ask that those who need access to our services:  Energy Assistance (MEAP), Supportive Services (Housing) and Emergency Food (Pantry) monitor our website www.harfordcaa.org or call 410-612-9909 to get up-to-date information and hours of operation.

Additionally, there will be specific program instructions posted on the agency door with instructions on alternate ways to obtain services. We will be limiting the number of customers in our waiting room and will be revising procedures accordingly.

New clients may access the agency universal application online at www.harfordcaa.org

Clients may experience longer than usual call and wait times.  We ask that, when referring clients to us, that you advise them of the new procedures and longer expected wait times.

If you have any revised procedures that you need us to announce, please send them our way. It is important that we all know what to expect for our Continuum during this difficult time.

March is National Nutrition Month!

In observance of National Nutrition Month, please contribute to our Virtual Food Drive in order to share the gift of nutrition to Harford County’s less fortunate!

Thank you!
