Food Insecurity is a growing problem across the world, including right here in our backyard.

In 2019, prior to the pandemic The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY reported there were more than 285,000 residents in their service area that were food insecure. With the economic hardships that came with the coronavirus pandemic as of March 2021, this number spiked to 317,000 food insecure residents, and 100,000 of those were children.
