For Judy Grantham, helping people deal with homelessness is a year-round issue, but she realizes that the topic gets more attention from the community during the holidays.

“Homeless people are always out there, but people open their eyes a little wider and see them a little more because it is the holidays, and they are in a more giving spirit,” said Grantham, who is the fund development coordinator for Collinsville Food Pantry.
