Community Case Management

Community Case Management is a wide-ranging program that strives to provide resource advocacy to our local community. Through various grants and with partner support we offer an array of services with the hope of lending a helping hand.

Peer Recovery
Harford Community Action Agency helps intake clients for peer recovery assistance. We help connect individuals and families to resources and provide gap funding for services when available.

Health Insurance Assistance 
(Through our partner, Seedco)

Seedco is an official partner of Maryland Health Connection and provides free, confidential in-person assistance to enroll in qualified health plans, dental plans, Medicaid, or the Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP).

Our staff of certified Navigators has the expertise to guide consumers through the marketplace, determine eligibility for financial help and cost savings on their health plans, and enroll them in coverage.

Pre-GED Assistance
(Through our partner, Harford Community College)

Are you interested in learning or improving basic reading, writing, or math skills? Enroll in FREE Adult Basic Education I (ABE) literacy classes, ABE II basic skills, or PreGED® review classes. With the help of supportive teachers and volunteers, you will be able to work at your own speed to meet your goals. Day and evening ABE classes meet twice a week at centers throughout Harford County, including at our Gateway office.
