Lockdown Festival 2.0, presented by Independent Can Company is once again supporting the Harford Community Action Agency, in the ongoing effort to assist our friends and neighbors hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis. As you can imagine, expenses incurred by the Harford Community Action Agency’s Food Bank Program have risen dramatically, as clients in need have doubled since Maryland’s self-quarantine was suggested.
Watch performances of regional acts as they generously contribute their time and talent to our cause!
Harford County Rotary Clubs, HCAA Board Match Donations in “Feed the Need” Campaign
The Lockdown Festival wraps up the Feed the Need Virtual Food Drive with a wonderful event.
Donations received in the last two weeks have easily surpassed the original matching grant threshold (the Harford County Rotary Clubs have matched the first $ 5,000 in donations and the HCAA Board of Directors matched $3,000).
Please consider donating to our virtual food drive – your donation is needed now more than ever!

As Harford County’s designated Community Action Agency, the HCAA’s mission is to help all Harford County individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardships in meeting their housing, food, energy/heating, and/or budget and family counseling needs. As you can imagine, HCAA’s resources are being stretched to the limit to support our friends and neighbors who are struggling the most during the COVID-19 crisis.
The Lockdown Festival is supporting HCAA’s efforts by way of sharing music that raises donations and spirits for those who are struggling — and brings a little bit of fun to people who miss coming out to support our local musicians!
The State Theater of Havre De Grace, Webixi, Lunar Bay Studio & Festival and Slate Ridge Entertainment are bringing some talented acts together to fulfill the mission at hand. We are incredibly grateful that they are participating and sharing their valued craft & time.

SOCIAL DISTANCING:
We realize you may be wondering how we’re pulling off a multi act festival right now. The State Theatre of Havre de Grace has worked some magic to keep everybody safe — Many of the acts are submitting pre recorded performances. Four are playing live from the theater. Only one band at a time is allowed in. Masks will be worn during setup and tear down, the 6’ rule will be respected, and bands are using their own mics. It goes without saying that there will be no live audience in attendance!
