Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP)

The Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP) provides a grant applied monthly to the customer’s electric bill.

This special credit helps to make the utility bill more affordable for low-income families. The EUSP also includes an arrearage component, which can be used once every 7 years to clear up past bills between $300 and $2,000. Why is this important? Through eliminating old, past due balances, many clients are able to have gas / electric service put back in their name.
